Portland Favorites | Coalition Brewing Company

It's no secret that Portland loves beer. With the highest number of microbreweries per capita, the Rose City is home to one of the most diverse collections of breweries you'll find. Located in the Laurelhurst neighborhood, Coalition Brewing Company is a 10 barrel brewery and pub that is sure to please even the pickiest of "beer snobs".

In addition to their own brews with enticing names like the Loving Cup Maple Porter (hello, fall?!), Coalition boasts a unique program that gets neighborhood lovers of craft beer directly involved in growing the brewery beer list. The Coalator Program offers home brewers the opportunity to create and sometimes even serve their homemade brews at Coalition's tap room. The home brewer and Coalition's master brewing team work together to help the home brewer determine exactly what type of beer he wants to create and design a recipe to bring it to life. If the beer becomes popular, it may end up sticking around!
