2013 Maintenance Summit Unites Multifamily Maintenance Techs, Vendors

We were thrilled to host the 2013 Maintenance Summit on June 25th in Olympia, Washington. The annual event is meant to provide training tailored to our valuable (and very busy) maintenance technicians. This year's theme was Disaster Preparedness, providing advanced training on current trends in prevention and response. Several of our Guardian Preferred vendors were present to teach training sessions and provide product knowledge for technicians looking to fulfill needs at their sites.

Leilani Stone, Operations Specialist, took a leading role in coordinating the event. "The most rewarding part of the day was when the Above & Beyond awards were handed out and being able to see the reaction in the audience. Hearing about accomplishments like a 99 REAC score, or one person completing a twenty seven interior unit rehab in six months, or how another person managed a $1.2 million dollar rehab was priceless," said Stone.

"It gave everyone perspective on how important the Maintenance role is in property management and that they are valued and appreciated team members of the company as well."
