Bridge Meadows is an innovative community designed to bring together three generations to support families adopting children from foster care and an opportunity for elders to have a sense of community and purpose.
Located in Portland's Portsmouth neighborhood, Bridge Meadows offers apartments for residents 55 years and older, gardens and a courtyard for gathering. An Intergenerational Community Center acts as the heart of the community hosting after-school activities and celebrations.
Bridge Meadows was recently featured on PBS, showing the stories of residents who live there and how each of their lives has been enriched and made better by living at Bridge Meadows.
